Some places stay with you long after you leave them.
For me, Kenya was one of those places.

What began as travel slowly became something deeper — a connection to the landscapes, the wildlife, the people, and the feeling that Kenya could be experienced in a far more personal and meaningful way than most traditional safaris allow.

Originally from Hungary and now based in London, I spent years working across hospitality, travel and operations-focused companies including Agoda, Generator Hostels and Mews before moving into enterprise technology and customer experience. Those years taught me that truly memorable journeys are never accidental – they are built through thoughtful planning, trusted relationships, attention to detail and understanding what makes people feel comfortable, cared for and fully present.

Over time, Kenya became more than a destination I returned to. I began exploring it more deeply, building relationships with guides, lodge owners and local communities across the country – from Amboseli and the Maasai Mara to quieter places many travellers never discover.

That journey eventually became Sidai Trails.

Today, together with my business partner Wayne and our trusted local network, we create curated private safaris, cultural journeys and soulful retreats designed around authenticity, comfort and meaningful experiences, whether it’s a first safari, a family adventure, a honeymoon or simply time to slow down and reconnect.

For me, luxury is not about excess.
It is about feeling safe, inspired, connected and fully immersed in the journey.

And above all, it is about experiencing Kenya not simply as a destination, but as something you truly feel.
